Welcome to P.O.S.H. More than a furniture and accessory store, P.O.S.H. is a place for you to discover those unique and special items that will make your home a special place for you, your family and friends. Your living spaces are important and very personal. The items you choose to have close around you should reflect your own sense of style, personal taste and personal standards. At P.O.S.H., we offer items that will improve and enhance your living environment. In the 18th century, "P.O.S.H." was stamped on luxury liner passenger luggage on trips from England to India. These wealthy passengers wanted the best accommodations on board, which meant on the voyage from England they wanted to be on the left side of the ship (port), and on the return trip on the right side (starboard). Port Out, Starboard Home was shortened to "P.O.S.H." When others saw "P.O.S.H." on the luggage, they knew this was a special person who had nice things. For us, P.O.S.H. also means Property of Susan Hoffman, our owner, who is a Minneapolis-based interior designer. This store arrived on the scene some time ago because she wanted a place to show her clients the type of furniture and accessories that would make their home even better. Interior Design Services We do offer complete interior design services through DESIGNS! This complete and full-scale interior design firm is located in Wayzata at 750 East Lake Street (952-475-0196).
